Case Study

Taking a product from concept to production, illustrated through the development of this aluminum rim. This rim was developed from sketches through to the production of a prototype part. Our challenge was to create a rim that would appeal to a female buyer. From the industrial design, a highly controllable model was developed followed by finite element analysis to confirm that the rim would exceed the loading requirements typical for an automotive application. We capped off the design with photo-realistic images and finally produced a prototype part to validate our design.
